Neutrik splitter

For my smaller gigs I was wondering if I could use something like this to split the out put of one amp channel to run both of my OT12's.

There would be a short speaker running from the channel out put to this device and then a 25ft cable to each speaker.
I realize that the load would be 4ohms which should be fine for my amp or would something like this be better.

That should work fine. I wouldn't pay anywhere near the price they want for the nice one... you can go buy a metal box and 3 speakons and make it yourself for that matter. If you rack your amp, you can build something like this into your rack (you can buy blank rack panels pre-punched for panel-mount jacks.

You can also just place the amp close to one speaker, run a short lead to that one, and a longer lead to the other. However... if this would result in a lead greater than 50', the splitter method would be theoretically better, unless you're using fairly heavy wire.
