Your "never assume" was going through my head when the Argies scored to take the lead I must admit!

Enemy territory? You are a brave man! Those Aussies can rip right into ya with the sledgin' lark!

Betchya can give as good as ya get though, eh, mate? Only way.

They were lucky darn tootin' against SA. One of those disallowed tries looked good to me. Having said that SA did have chances to pull out of sight but just didn't capitalise. Think they had 15 sets of 5 pass + phases to 0 by Australia. That's a telling stat. But not the one that counts.

Unfortunately for the All Blacks that means there'll be some serious-assed training going on in the Aussie camp and that expectations will be lowered and focus increased.

I worry the NZ team will do just as they did against Argentina and at the outset just try too hard and make basic errors. The Aussies will punish that if it happens, I reckon.

Set to be a legendary game.

And I wouldn't be surprised if the two pedigree rugby nations meet in the final. Can't see Wales having the resources to overcome the ABs, though.

Semi final winner plays someone from Europe in the final. The assumed drawdown got changed up with all the upset results.

Southern versus northern hemisphere as journos and commentators are putting it.

Personally, I can't be cheering for a "hemisphere".

"C'mon the north! We are so the best hemisphere!"

Just not right.

Every now and again, after watching an Int'l Rugby game, I feel like running straight into a brick wall.

Tonight was one of those times :wall:

AAArrrrggghhhhhh! :chainsaw:

I think I'll just continue drinking :broke: and hopefully I'll calm down and pass out.

+1 What a turgid load of nonsense that Wales France game was! Welsh came SO close! French did not deserve to win that at all!

Sheesh!

Welsh had their chances and played out of their skins. Ultimately though the ref spoiled it. Hate when that happens. Yellow card and sin bin woulda been right IMO.

But it was more WWF than rugby union that tackle that got Welsh player sent off. But hey, who hasn't felt like pile driving a Frenchman into the ground from time to time! (Quand meme J'ADORE la France!)

Right now looking like France v NZ final (16-4 NZ v Aus with half hour to go...). Go ABs!!!

In everyone's opinion here too.

The froggies had better come to prove they are worthy of their finals spot next weekend, or they'll never make it out of the country without a bloody nose or two :cussing:

The Wallabies put on quite a flaccid show for most of the game tonight - a few shows of brilliance from time to time but - the AB's just pummeled them.
