Does anyone know anything about the Crest Vs900?
I found the owner's manual online and it claims the amp will put out out about 50V RMS each channel..... and that it weighs 46 pounds. I found one locally for $150 and was thinking about jumping on it. I think that's cheaper than a year's gym membership and I'll probably end up getting the same workout.
My plan is to feed it with my Peavey Max Bass preamp, and then power two 2515 Jack 15s. Might make a pretty robust bass rig. I'll use the setup (with a standard mixer instead of the MaxBass) for backyard parties also.
If yall have any experience with the Vs900, I'd love to hear what you think.

Judging by what others have said about weight, you might get tired of moving that amp.ncgrove wrote:......and I'll probably end up getting the same workout.

For the price and claimed specs, I've made peace with the weight issue. I was more concerned about the performance of the amp. I've read other somewhat favorable things about the Vs900 in other forums; however this is where I go to for no BS straight-shooting thoughts and opinions about sound gear.
Here's a link to the spec sheet if anyone cares:

Again guys, thanks for your time.

I don't see any reason why this wont work just fine. You will get tired of carrying it around though....but, you're young - so why not?
It's gonna be pretty dang loud I'm thinking.
