Impressive win for the All blacks ( NZ Rugby team ) against their nemesis France last night

37 -17 to NZ. France looked dangerous for the first 10 minutes, then they lost the plot.

You have to wonder though why they did loose the plot....

hey I played good ole gridiron football and sadly have the knees and back to show for it but I played intramural rugby in college after football season...really ticked off the coaches. I enjoyed rugby a thousand times more than football. I would still play it today if I could. Of course I am watching the RWC and pulling for the All Black and Australia. Got to see the eagles get the crap kicked out them. Love to watch Samoa and Japan play. My other fav is the Saxons...doom on France and Italy though. Wish I could be there to see it live. Nothing like a scrum and no body could get it unless they experience it first hand!

Scotland v England today.

On paper England should walk it. However, there's indiscipline in the team. Despite annihilating Georgia they conceded 12 penalties (which afford an attempt of what Americans would recognise as a "field goal" for 3 points meaning 36 "free" points were potentially on offer. That's a lot of points. If England beat Scotland or any other established nation by 36 points it is a huge margin).

[My opinion is it comes from the coach Martin Johnson, a mountain of a man, and a legend in his playing days but unfortunately a man given to bolshy temper tantrums and negativity.]

Scotland, on the other hand, will be supported by the Kiwis (LOTS of Scots in NZ), Aussies, French and just about everyone else who loves to hate the old colonial masters. And the Scots generally raise their game when it comes to the auld (old) enemy. Expect crunching, no-holds-barred tackling especially in the early stages.

Let's hope the game of rugby wins!

There's more than indiscipline, there is lack of co-ordination and confusion.

I expect England to win by less than 10 points and think it is going to be an even game until the last 15 minutes.

Well they're on right now, but I;m going to watch delayed covered FOC.

The big upset is Tonga beating France 19-14. Who would have thought that could happen

Froggies must be on promise back home and can't wait....

Chris, were you born on a night when the moon turned fire red! And did your mother cry out "Lord, the gypsy was right!"?

You should get a booth on Brighton pier and call yourself Madam Zaza!

Once again Scotland snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!

Remarkably prescient Mr Allen, er , Madam Zaza.

How are my builds gonna turn out? (I can cross your palm with a Paypal payment.)

Ha! It does look like I edited it but thankfully Harley quoted it all which shows I only updated a bracket at the end of the 'quote' block. :?

All Blacks - One step closer. I just got through watching NZL vs. Canada. All Blacks look good even though Carter and is out. I also watched a documentary called "Cup of Dreams". Good show, makes me want to visit NZL. I like the pride the people of New Zealand has. I did not realize there is only 4,000,000 people in the country. There are that many in Chicago alone. It is no small wonder the All Blacks are so important. Back to the game though, that was a heck of a head shot between Kleeburg and Woodcock was intense.
