A chap by the name of Einstein long ago rendered that possibility to the rubbish heap. The amp draws roughly 1300 watts, so even with an impossible 100% efficiency that's all it can deliver on a continuous basis. Google 'Law of conservation of energy'. Otherwise we'd all be using these magic devices to heat and light our homes.Armchair Pirate wrote:16,400w @ 4 ohms.....
I have no doubt that the MC2 and FFA amps have a great sound, but past a certain point as long as they can deliver the power without adding in anything that wasn't there before it got to the amplifier inputs an amp is an amp is an amp. I prefer to put money into a track record of performance and reliability rather than a name that commands top dollar.DrDantastic wrote:They may not be able to put out that power but I can tell you that both MC2 and FFA amps sound great and are some of my favourites. I may be biased with the amount of Funktion One I work with, though...
