I have a Behringer A500 and would like a crossover to put in front of it for a THT build. What are you guys using for crossovers?
Built in processing in the receiver?
External unit?
MiniDSP?

The combination of the receiver crossover and the variable low-pass filter of the typical plate amp works very well, and is a good reason to use a plate amp.

Yeah, I would agree with that. I got that A500 for a steal on CL and would really like to use it to power that THT.

Use the receivers internal one. AKA LFE out
2x T39, 1x T60, 1x THTLP, 1x AT(not built by me) 6x DR250
I need more bass
But this gal's built like a burlap bag full of bobcats

I run a plate amp only but it does have a 24db slope, while most others have 18 or (gaps) even 12. Same for receivers, it depends. Personally, 24db was the bare minimum, so for that you could do external processing if the receiver does not have it.
