Crown xti models vs. new xti-2 models

#1 Post by metaverse »

Hey all,

Was just wondering your opinions on the original (cheaper) xti models vs the new xti-2 series ??

Are they worth the extra 350 USD ??

The reason the original series is less expensive is because they're being cleared-out. Shop around for your best clearance price and snag 'em while you can. A lot of places are already sold out.

Thanks

I understand that ...

I'm still wondering if the new ones with its new features are actually worth the extra money.

Everyones' needs are different. The new features are listed on Crown's XTi2 sales page. Are they worth $350 to you?

I'm thinking about this too as I want to pick up a XTI4000. Other than looking cooler and being now, i'm having a hard time shelling out for one. Especially since I can get one for $450 used. For me there would be no real advantage.

I don't think it's worth the extra $. I will buy the XTI2 if it has built in HiQnet wireless management capability.
