Any comments on the skyrocketing cost of neodymium?

Helpful hints on how to build 'em, and where to get the stuff you need.

Any comments on the skyrocketing cost of neodymium?

#1 Post by safebet »

Hi all. I'm considering the 3012HO for an OT12 build and I'm kinda shocked at the soaring price of neodymium drivers. Really glad I got my 3012LF's for my Tuba builds last year!

A number of Bill's designs favor drivers in the neodymium family so I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on this.

Viewing the link below the trend and outlook does not look good.

2 x T30 23" -3012LF v-plate
2 x Econowave Deluxe HO (awesome custom tops using 3012HO and B&C DE250 on QSC horn)
1 x T39 25" -3012LF
1 x Autotuba -Tang Band
