Searching for Air Leaks in your horn Subs.

#1 Post by vexorgtr »

I found this to be really useful in searching for air leaks in my Subs........ As usual, many of us have had an extra screw hole from a temporary brace, or a seam that wasn't perfectly tight.

I find the easiest way for me to find these is to Go get a very bright light, and shine it inside the sub..... with the room dimly lit. PL isn't transparent, so normally you'll see the light coming from any up and coming air leak.

In my case, it comes in really handy since I'm using some temp braces as a result of warpy wood.

This way I can find leaks pretty much anyhere, and seal them right up.

I normally use this durring constructing before installing the driver.
