Hey everybody! So I was setting up for my weekly bar gig yesterday, and nobody was there, so it was really quiet. I plugged al my equipment in to make sure it was all working, and I noticed when I plugged the XTI in, it was making a faint humming noise. It almost sounded like a transformer buzzing, just really quiet. I had to put my ear right up next to it to tell it was coming from the amp. The amp was off, and as soon as I unplugged it, the noise went away. Plugged it in, noise came back. It doesn't seem to be affecting the performance of the amp, I played last night with no issues at all. Does anyone elses XTI make this noise, should I be concerned? Thanks
Josh

Re: Crown XTI 2000 question, maybe problem.
This happened to me with my XTI 4000 but not my 2000. I even called Crown and they said to return it.
I disconnected everything and tried to figure out if I could narrow down the problem (maybe it was the surge protector, maybe a bad cable etc..).
When I plugged everything back in, the sound was gone (with the exception of a very low hiss coming from the cabs). I then tried to re-create the bad sound and couldn't. It has been fine and i've had the amp for about 3 months now.
