question on a x-over

I have an acive x-over it's an active 3 channels, but my OT15 are one channel, the question is: can I sume on a Y cable the outs from the x-over in the highs and mids? to feed the signal to the OT 15's?
Or it's better bi-amp? the boxes have 4 pole speakons and I use only 2.
The x-over cut the mids at 7,000 hz.
The OT's have 3 piezos each the double elements ones in a straight array.

That unit is not really suitable for these designs. Some of them have ways to bypass the 3-way cross internally, but this one doesn't. A Y-cable would not be an acceptable solution for summing. You could use a summing box, but it would affect phase and response, and by the time you go through all that you might as well just buy the right crossover, of which there are many.

If you're going to biamp the tops, make sure you have a protection resistor on the piezos.

For the moment I'm going to run the Otops with out the x-over, just with a equalizer, I have no subs, the 2 TAT JBL's are no match for the OT15's.
