When is a corner too far to use?

I may be in a really big room in December, likely centered on a long wall. Any specifics on when is a corner too far to use for loading?

A corner that is too far away to allow the subs to be delayed properly to remain in phase with the PA tops?

I wouldn't put subs more than 20 feet or so from tops.

Where is the dance floor? If it is also centered on the long wall, then wall load the subs and be done with it.

The dance floor is centered on the wall as well...we'll be right in front of it. I'm guessing the corner is within 20 feet. If thats the case I'll use it, if it's further, I'll use the wall.

My friends wedding was somewhat like this as the corners were a little far and the dance floor was right smack in the middle of the room. What I did was just placed the subs up against the wall at 1/3 from the other wall (so 2/3 from the opposite wall). Bass was even through out the whole room without any really noticeable nulls or hotspots (and stupid annoying for the table right next to them which I designated as "the band table").

It ended up being just for looks as ended up using single jacks on each pole and three titans with only my xls402 driving everything. And even like that, being near the subs was extremely annoying once things got pumping, and the volume at the dance floor was VERY good.

He said he wanted me to bring everything I had, but he never really said anything about actually using everything I had.

I can't wait for the 3010lf's! hopefully eminence decides to manufacture them some time soon. (because that would need dr's )
