Rare hole saw sizes?

I spent just over half a day trying to find a 1-5/16 hole saw and 3-1-3/4 hole saw for the SLA and TLAH.

Is it just my city or have others had difficulty finding these sizes?

My local Ace Hardware carries more hole saws than Home Depot or Lowes. The Lowes that's by my office carries a lot of woodworking-specific products, though.

Then of course, we have a Rockeler and a Woodcraft store up here, too. I think it's odd that the different Big Box stores will carry different items, but apparently that's pretty common.

You'll have to order them from one of the woodworking supplies, or have your local hardware store order it direct from a mfg. They won't be in stock anywhere. If there's a Grainger or a Fastenal near you they can probably get them the quickest.

I have two multi-piece hole saw kits I picked up from Harbor Freight Tools that contain the sizes you mentioned. I would check there if you have one nearby, or order online.
