What circular saw guide systems are out there?
What circular saw guide systems are out there?
Building my new workshop and my old saw conked out...
Can't afford a full system right now- basically a new saw and basic components for the guide rail. Is Eurekazone the only system that breaks it down? I see they have a sale thru the end of the month. From my limited research maybe the Ridgid 6.5 framing saw http://www.homedepot.com/Tools-Hardware ... ogId=10053 and the tracksaw package http://www.eurekazone.com/content/ez-sm ... 50-package would get me started? Again, I know it's not Festool but how much would I be losing over the long run if I started out with this? This will be set up eventually as a permanent system and added on to. Is there anything else out there that would compare $ and quality wise?

This has already been covered quite extensively in several other threads recently;
Does anyone have a preferred table saw?; and
The Germans must be reading Bill's plans

Yep! Followed all the links on those- and looking at the links on http://billfitzmaurice.info/forum/viewt ... 21&start=0
In the pursuit of complete brain overload, however, I was wondering if there's any more systems out there that haven't been brought to light yet, what with all the patents expiring, etc.
