Russian Birch Question

#1 Post by doncolga »

Hey,

I've found 12mm Russian Birch, 5 X 5 sheets from a lumber shop recommended to me by a local cabinet maker. It looks like it's got nine plies to me...should that be OK?..it looks really, really nice and it's about $31 5 X 5' per sheet.

If the plies are all even thickness, you're on the money!

OK...this does look like the right wood. This is a vast improvement over what I used on my first practice box.
