DR250 Almost done couldnt wait!!!!
I am almost complete on my first DR250, just need to put on the sides and install the acess cover and carpet. But I could not wait any longer. I just had to hear what it sounded like. I connected the left channel of my stereo and......DAYUM!!!!!!! Bill I am impressed! I have played a variety of music thru ir this morning but when I put on a compilation of James Brown (RIP Godfather) It just blew me away. First of all I could actually hear the bass notes being played distinctly, but even more I could actually understand the words Bro James was saying. I have to wait until I get a power amp as I sold my bass amp to go to a separate preamp and power amp, before I can run my bass thru it. This is the ported version and the bass comes thru with authority. Now I can see what the others have been saying about using the Dr250 plus a sub makes a hell of a DJ setup. Thanks again Bill for your designs. Now lets see whats next ???? Omni 10.5 for practice, a T39 sub, another DR250, an AutoTuba...
