Omni 12TB

Ok, so I am a new member of the forum, but have been an avid reader for some time now. I recently purchased an Omni 12TB and at first was a little let down. It didn't command the attention like I was expecting. The builder and I pondered for about a week, and he finally changed the baffle and it made a wonderful difference, but it still didn't seem as loud as I had expected. I was pleased with the tone, but it didn't seem to live up to all the hype I had been reading.
I then was forced to play a show without it, and my opinion changed drastically of this fairly "ununnoticeable" cab. Due to the size of the car we were traveling in I couldn't take my omni to the show, but I took my amp. We were playing a show in a music store, so I picked the best, most expensive ampeg 4X10 cab I could find to play through. I immediatly noticed I had my amp cranked to the highest setting and wasn"t getting even half of the volume as my Omni. Then after struggling to find a tone that I was ok with, because it was impossible to find one I liked, we finally did a rehearsal before the show. This is a top of the line ampeg 4X10 and it sounded like it was stuffed with cotton and shoved in the back room! I didn't like my tone, it was like there was a pillow in front of the cab, and I could barely hear the thing! I absolutely LOVE my omni! I will never again underestimate any BFM audio equipment, and highly recommend the Omni 12TB, it is the perfect bass cab for me. Its tone is so clear that at first you don't notice how incredibly loud it is. I am amazed that all of that sound comes from such a small package. Thanks Bill!!
P.S. Thanks doug for all of the hard work put into building this amazing cab for me!! I will post pics later
