I don't know... it sounds really, really, good. I am thinking of going reverse smilety to get into the mids. We kind of have a metal thing going. I boost the crap out of my mids now. I'll def check into the pre/power setup a little more and see what I can do. I do like the somplicity of having just a head though. I found that BBE at music go round. Music go round has a decent layaway program if I recall. Might be worth getting that thing reserved for you if you really want it.

I don't want to worry about having to ship them. The bass is listed right now on craigslist. I kinda have to sell the bass before I can sell the head. It's a money/numbers game. I can't commit to anything until I get this gear sold, no idea how long that will take. Sold the bass so the head is now posted. But, does anyone have experience with the Crown XLS 1000 DriveCore?
I was told that that would be a good power amp and I can get a decent deal but I would have to forgoe a rack for now...

My Eden has an 'Enhance' knob that progressively cuts in 200~300hz range. That really cleans up the mids tremendously! Perhaps you could look into one of those little Boss EQ's and do the same?JoeVictim wrote:I boost the crap out of my mids now.
