Finally installed in the car. 65 lemans convertible, Blaupunkt head unit, 300w Blaupunkt bridged amp for the AT, Blaupunkt 50w per channel into 4 channels for the rest. Blaupunkt 5.25's in rear, 4" tang bands w onkyo tweeter in kick panels, 2 MA audio 3" in dash where original speaker was.
The smaller speakers were chosen to optimize the crossover point to the sub. They all have good response down to 80hz, (except the ma's) in the enclosures I have them in. Old cars have big spaces to put stuff.

The crossover is set about 110. The bass is effortless, deep and authoritative. The system runs out of top end headroom long before the sub is thinking about it. Not because of a lack of power up top, (it's loud enough you can't hear a shout with the top down), but the efficiency of the AT.
I know in terms of car audio it's a peewee for power. Careful design and efficiency make it sound like much more powerful systems. I'm pretty proud of it. It's one of the best car stereos I've heard. Balanced, nuanced, it even images.
A very nice surprise was the total lack of body panel buzzes. The whole car rocks with the bass, and we put in no dampening.
After we finished, I realized it's perfectly setup for 5.1 surround. I'm thinking a DVD and new head unit one of these days.
