looking for grill cloth and piping

i want to make marshall (or ampeg) style grills for my jacks. can anyone point out a good source for grill cloth and piping? i can find the basketweave type cloth, but im having a hard time with the piping. any leads would be great!
also, does one layer of the grill cloth block out enough light? or should i plan on a layer of thin fabric behind it?

This kinda goes along with what I am doing so I'll kinda tag along with you. I got my grill cloth from http://www.parts-express.com/wizards/se ... N=11239891 here.
Not sure about piping. Ebay maybe? My question is how to attach the amp plate. Most amplates have screws in them. Won't this mess up the grill cloth?

i did find some piping on ebay, only black or white though. anyone know a place that has blue or red?
