Amps for Jack & titan 39
Re: Amps for Jack & titan 39
If you don't mind the weight, i think it's musisciansfriend that's having a sale on the old xls series. But I would think that all the older models will be on sale now that the new lighter ones are hitting the shelves.

I've noticed the price of "old iron" dropping over here. Dang my 600W is heavy but it will probably keep going longer than I will. Somehow I doubt these newfangled digital amps will do the same.

they do run much cooler though, there is definitely greater "wear" on a class A or BGregory East wrote:I've noticed the price of "old iron" dropping over here. Dang my 600W is heavy but it will probably keep going longer than I will. Somehow I doubt these newfangled digital amps will do the same.

There is a lot to be said for "working properly" and "paid for".Gregory East wrote:I've noticed the price of "old iron" dropping over here. Dang my 600W is heavy but it will probably keep going longer than I will. Somehow I doubt these newfangled digital amps will do the same.
I'd like to find a PLX-1202 in good shape, for an inexpensive price.
I've gotten a few offers, but for more than I want to pay for old gear.
My biggest worry is that when I'm dead and gone, my wife will sell my toys for what I said I paid for them.
