So I took my new OT15s out to a small jazz gig last night (apologies I meant to take photos!)
Vox, sax and keys going through, bass not DIed and drums unmiked.
Capacity maybe 150.... a small conservative club.
I rigged up one cab and figured it was probably enough and it was. Plenty of output throughout the room, sound seemed better integrated further away from the speaker (had this phenomenon with my OT12s too). Needed a bit of EQ cut in the 300-700Hz region to eliminate some boxiness.
All sounded nice and clean and clear.... so nothing untoward to report. I definitely prefer the sound of the 15"s over the 12"s for whatever reason.
FYI they are loaded with Eminence 3015 and BMS 4552Nd on a P Audio horn.

Re: First night out with new OT15
Hey Stu,
That's very cool to hear. I'm hoping to have my first night out at a venue about the same size, or just a little bit smaller, on July 24th with a single Titan 48 (x30 or 36) to replace my current set of Mackie 18" subwoofers. I finally settled on that after determining that is the biggest bang for the buck my rig can get right now since I've already got some 15's.

Very nice to hear. Do you have pics?
Your OT12's received quite some additional damping, as well as HP filters on the piezo's. They sound better then when I just got them. But we haven't got the full band back together, so have not gigged them yet.

Could you be more specific please?Needed a bit of EQ cut in the 300-700Hz region to eliminate some boxiness.

No pics that I took, maybe some from other people present. If I get some will post them.
As for the EQ cut its just EQ cut at 300-700 on the good sounding response I got in my house with the cab on the floor.
