You're fine. If you were going to spend extra money on drivers, I would think that it would be better to get 3012LF's instead of doubling up on Deltas, but I personally would leave them as single driver cabs.
Dave

Built:
- Omni 10 (S2010 + piezo array)
- 2 x DR250 (DL II 2510 + melded array)
- 2 x Titan 39 (BP102 - 14"W)
- 2 x Titan 39 (3012LF - 20"W)
- 4 x DR200 (Delta Pro 8B + melded array)

Thanks, I have read a few discussions about the 30" vs the 20" single drivers.
I contemplated over it for a long time. I just said enough with it and decided to build the 30" and see for myself.
Isn't the 3012 have more power capability over the delta? other than that there the same creature?

delta for a 30"? :(

I'd go that extra mile and get the 3012lf if I were you. But if you already have the delta's then they'll do, but after building all my stuff my mantra is now that the simpler designs get beta's and only the slim titans/tubas get the smaller drivers when they must, but other than that, if you can fit the the best driver in there, then there are no others I would use(well unless that was the even a better driver).
Built:6 t39, t18, 4 Jack10, 2 autotuba, 2 SLA,2 wedge, 2 TT, 2 Tritrix, curved sla, 2 otop212, 2 SLA pros, Ported 8" sub, 2 ported 210, dual ported 8" sub

Like always other things take priority. :wall:
I kind of stopped them to work on the DR's I got hanging over my head.
When I get them done, which could be just about a half day I will post them in the showcase and for a review. I will be using them along side my 20" T39's so they'll be some bass for sure dude. :P

Welcome aboard!

Scott, the 12LF will do just fine in your cabs.

DaveK is a proponent of the uni-brace.
What is your take on same, after doing a few?
My biggest worry is that when I'm dead and gone, my wife will sell my toys for what I said I paid for them.

The uni-brace is much more a no brainer IMO. All I have to do is keep a few panels flush on one side and I'm done.

Looks very clean I must say.
I made mine to fit together very tight.
IMO it is the way to go and I made a template. So any more I do will go that much faster.

I like it!, what did you cut them with a circular saw and jig saw the inside corners?

Yup. Skill saw and a jig saw.
All ways dry fit these kind of pieces.
I was right on the line, no exceptions. I measured and remeasured so it could be a no brainer while putting it together.
IMO I would recommend building the uni-brace if you are building more than a pair or plan on building more down the road. Just don't misplace the template.

I did my T48s with a template, but still doing stick-built bracing.

I made some head way on these the other day while waiting for some paint to dry........ :cowboy: ...........on another project.

Dr's are coming along nicely with, what I think will be a great hanging and stacking system.
Big review and build thread for Dr's later from me when i am complete.

Yikes, yall are scaring me. I have already purchased all the stuff to build two 26" wide duel 3012lf cabs. The plans say 26" is min I can go. I did think about makeing them 30". I have been assuming the duel 26" would be fine?

Build 'em single at 26" and if that doesn't blow you away.....build two more with the extra speakers.

I couldn't imagine mine any louder....I think two speakers in there would blow the plywood apart.

6 - T39 3012LF
4 - OT12 2512
1 - T24
1 - SLA Pro
2 - XF210

Extra width = considerably more performance for just the cost of the extra wood.

Why build bigger/heavier/bulkier duallies? Singles can be as narrow as 16"w, but it's wise to build them as wide as you can (depending on space).
