Crown xti4000 vs. Itech 4000

I am trying to decide on a single amp option to power up to 6 dr200's with the 16 ohm delta pro and up to 4 36" T48's
It seems that an xti 4000 would not really be a good choice as current demands jump drastically below 4 ohms with an 1/8 pink noise input (something crown claims is equal to typical music program at clipping) while the itech current demands from 4 to 2 ohms are almost exactly the same! Plus the itech is supposed to drive a 1 ohm load.

The itech is more efficient with a current draw of around 8 amps or less at 4 or 2 ohms (all while putting out substantially more power) vs. The xti at almost 10 amps at 4 ohms and over 14 amps at 2 ohms , I can buy an xti 4000 for about $625 b stock on eBay and the itech 4000 for about $1500 also b stock on ebay with an extended 3+3 year warranty for an additional 3 years in coverage, ( am I trying to convince you guys or myself right now?) now the kicker is I can run a small monitor amp + the itech and all else from a single 20amp circuit

Finally to the questions, I have read that some of you guys are or have ran these amps and would like to ask would I be asking to much from this single amp? And is a 2.5 ohm load pushing it?

Having used both I will state for the record unequivocally:
If you can afford the itechs, get the itechs.

The XTi is a pro-sumer grade amplifier.
The I-Tech is a full tour-grade amplifier.

You get what you pay for. The built-in thermal & peak limiting in the DSP on the I-Techs is reason enough.

I would like to hear some real feedback on this as well.

To expand on this a bit, also adding the point you could wire subs in series/parallel and not lower the impedance/ohms down so far.

Due to the high output voltage of this amp, what would be the max subs (assuming 8 ohm 3012lf or 3015lf drivers) could one safely run (series/parallel wired) on one channel?

Does'nt seem to be one other than a little more spam "get tons anyway" and the 60 day wait period to claim the money.
