My neighbors love me.

#1 Post by djtecthreat »

I was bored yesterday, so I decided to drag out some speakers for some "testing". Pic is before I hooked everything up. I just brought the rig out to play some tunes and push it hard for a bit. Definitely shouldn't have done that, neighbors grouped together and came up the street to ask me to turn it off. Ahh the benefits of living in the city. Anyway, here's a pic, enjoy.

Hey dave, you in the ma area? Its not called the centrum anymore, its the dcu center. My "a" rig is in there all time, there are event halls on the upper levels.

Funny, I edited out in my post "Now DCU...", but to me, it will always be the Centrum. Even funnier that you ARE in the Centrum. That is cool!!!

Haha, they did look like a mob coming up the street (about 7 of them). I'm a pretty tall, mean looking, unapproachable guy (I look that way, i'm actually a nice guy), so it was probably a "strength in numbers" kind of thing. What's even more funny is- it was all people who live down the street, and my stack was aimed UP the street.

Up the street, everyone was dancing. It was the poor guys who were just getting hit with just the bass who had the problems.

^^^ hahahahahha. Oh, the breaks, how deceiving they can be. Gotta love em though.

Whenever I tested mine outside I'd start kinda low, then turn it up during the breaks to really destroy their spirits during the second drop

It's funny how hard it is for people to describe sound using words over the internet, yet your description leaves know doubt. I've heard it oh too many times. :chainsaw:
