The big 30" Titan

After making my original T-39, 20" (which is awesome) for my band I decided to make some wedges and Dr's. Since the Dr's are at a stand still I thought I could get more done starting the T-39-30". Delta12lf loaded.
You don't know how big these are until you start cutting the wood.
I opt for going with a full internal brace system seen here on the forum a few build ago on a T-48 I think?
Anyway I like this way, it took me about 13 min ( I was timing myself) to do the first. It was a little snug putting in panel 4 after 2 so I made a note to myself for the next one.
The second 39 took only 8 min to glue and shoot with brads.
These times do not include any prep; cuts, drawn lines or loading the gun oh ya taking pics.

Love the brace work. Bet thats a lot less of a pain then cutting them indiviually, and it looks sleek as well.

Dude, I just saw an "oh, oh"! Unless your newer plans say different, mine say that the first braces have to have holes in them.

I think in this case it's ok because the braces are short leaving an open area. If it's not too late I would notch the bracing for some extra openings just to be on the safe side.

Maybe you guys can help with placement? I all ready got a couple of 20" 39's and V plate them front and center, with the 30's I don't think I can put them on top. Too tall.
I was going to keep the 20's stacked in the center but stand the 30's up on each side of the stage.
Or V plate each stack side by each.

Also am going to put casters on the side like my OmniTB http://billfitzmaurice.info/forum/viewt ... 26&t=11232
with a couple of strap or spring handles on the top and side for easier transport.
anyone here do that with there 39/48?

I thought no body would pick up on that It's the circle I cut out of the OmniTb 15. But all I needed was 12.5" so I left the rest of the circle and it made to be a very one of kind set of 39's.
reduce/reuse/recycle goes for all of us woodworkers also.

Well I got a lot done in the course of 2 days. I still got to cut one side and install the mouth braces. They are just standing up in there now for pictures.
I put the not done DR200 on top for a better feel for how big 30" wide 39's really are.

They'll go very nicely with the 20" 39's

any reason for not going dual driver on a cab that wide?

You would be really throttling the response of the 3012LF if you were to put two in a cab that 'narrow'. Same as putting a single 3012LF in a 15.5" cab. You could put 2x BP102 but the performance of a single 3012LF would beat it.

I suppose it's a question of sensitivity vs pack space vs total displacement.

I hope I made a good decision? With the 30" W with the Delta12lf. It will still move the air?
I am hoping to throw a 3012 some time down the road and clamp them to the space.

My 20" 39's have the Delta12lf.
I thought the delta is a very economical choice for the T-39?
