PL curing time?
PL curing time?
I glued some stuff with PL this morning... Anyone know how long the curing time is? I have to drill a screw hole that is near a hole that I filled with PL...and I want to make sure I wait long enough for the PL to set. Should I wait overnight.... Or is it safe to do, say, six hours after application?

Turbo PL is fully cured in 3 minutes.
I use it for quickie installs of braces and other little things that I can hold in place until the glue sets. You have about 10 seconds after applying the glue before it starts to foam and take a set.
Turbo PL does not dry down as rock-hard as does standard PL. It seems to hold its own, though. I have to wait 6~8 hours, or over night in California. During the summer we aren't as humid as elsewhere. It is 100% humid here at the moment.

Might take an extra couple of hours because I left it inside, and it's not so warm because of the A/C. I'll do the rest outside, once I slather on a little sunscreen. It's a little distracting out there, though, because my neighbor is having a pool party in the back yard...
