My Omnitop 12's (Singles)

#1 Post by djtecthreat »

Here's some pics and vid of the finished product. I just need to load the rest of the horns and woofers, and they're be pretty much done. I want to put some corners on them, but the ones I have are too big, so i'll be ordering more from Leland.

Just take your time and if you come across a piece and you say to yourself "eh, thats good enough" Stop! go back, do it again and make it so you can say "Yeah, that looks good".

It sounds crazy but I feel like one sacrifice turns into a sacrificed project because you tend to look back at the first issue you let go and have that attitude towards all the issues. This is why my T48's didn't cut it for me.

What HF horn did you use? I can't find anything that would fit the OT12 in the vertical orientation without compromises. Thanks.

There's always compromises. I'm using the Goldwood GM-500PB for the upper 6 cabs and the Dayton elliptical in the lower 2 for better nearfield dispersion.

This was a decison made after discussing options on here with Ron K.

What's the H & V dispersion of that horn? Parts Express does not state what the angles are.
