OSB for braces?
Is this a legitimate strategy? I've got a ton of osb laying around, (making my V-plate out of it).

I don't see why not. It's an edge glue joint, where osb actually has strength.

wasnt sure if I had to worry about rattle or anything, since it might disintegrate. But sounds good. I have so much of it haha.

I'd dado them into the panels to stabilize the joint.

Normally, I would, but I just had both my router AND my jigsaw die on me. The router I can understand, I've run it hard on 3 or 4 electric guitar bodies, but the jigsaw.... bleh.
I had to cut the baffle hole by hand hahahaha. Thankfully after touching it up with a rasp it looks pretty nice
