Has anyone used the Peavey VSX 26 or 48? If so , what da ya think? :?:

Hey Paul,


I do know of some people that use them and like them as a real good value DSP. The older version was a little noisy but if you set up your gains correctly it wasn't very noticeable when in a rock band setting.

I believe the newer versions have addressed this but I am not for sure. Besides that for $350 it is a great bang-to-buck DSP, especially considering it has delays up to 340ms which many of the value DSP's don't have that much delay.

If you wouldn't go with the VSX26 the next step would either be a dbx DR260 or Sabine NAV360 which both run about $650. So I would say the VSX is a good deal.
