Cool speakon gear

#1 Post by Mark Coward »

I just saw these colored mounting gaskets while browsing Neutrik stuff. I think they'd look good, and if you had separate full range & biamp inputs you could color code them. Or to color code input/outputs on a patch panel, you can get XLR and 1/4" in D size also.

This looks handy too, right angle speakon adapter:

I use the right-angle connectors on the jumper that goes between my jacks. It's pretty slick,.

Don't know how new this is but I had never seen it till today. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdet ... er=092-053

Personally, I'm ok with the screws as opposed to the soldering. And unlike the cable mounts, these connections will never see any stress. So these thigns are just golden.

Those are what I use. Just beware they're not air tight, like the soldered versions.

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I'll order the regular one for the jacks and then use those for the rest of what I'll build, t48's and DR's.
