#1 Post by coolhandjjl »

is there a tutorial here that describes driver burn in? Do I do this with my amp? Are the drivers already mounted in the cab?

Thanks in advance!

Excellent. The video from member RubiconProSound says it all.

Thanks!

Try SigJenny instead. Easy to work with, runs on pretty much any PC.

I am a commercial photographer by profession, been a Mac guy for twenty years. But you'll get no Mac vs PC flames from me. :horse:

I did find a freeware on the Apple site called ToneGen that I'll try.

Thanks again for all the suggestions.

By virtue of the industry, there's quite a few users of a variety of platforms here, including myself. Your in good company. 8)

Another example of driver burn-in; a 3015lf in this case. I used Rubicon's awesome idea and added a rubber strap instead of a metal hanger to further isolate vibrations. It worked very well, being no louder than a fish tank pump or large refrigerator.
