Adding a tweeter switch to a Jack

#1 Post by PaulNYC »

I have the deluxe Jack 110 kit from Leland and I am wanting to put a DTDP switch for the tweeters on my cab. I am thinking the easisest thing would be to use one of the 1/4" input holes from the jack plate I have on the back and drill it out. Does anyone know if a standard drill bit would be up to the task.

I just figured that Speakon cables are so easy to make there is no way I need more than one 1/4" jack for emergencies :)

Yes.

Being made from sheet metal, it's best to sandwich the plate between two pieces of plywood and firmly clamping it to something solid.
