Re: First THTLP - First Bill F. project

I had a few feet of 1x4 popular left over and made a box to protect the bash amp.
FYI: Where the volume knob is set in the picture shakes the whole house.

Re: DR250 Time Lapse Photos

Hello all. Nice work so far ncgrove. I am getting ready to start a build of two DR250s, and would like some advice on how much 1/2 and 1/8 ply to purchase. I don't see that specified in the plans as it was for the THT. Secondly, has anyone put together a cut list for the 250? With so many odd shaped...

Technical behringer nu6000 review with graphs

I was looking for info on the iNuke series of amps and ran across this technical review. Compares iNuke NU6000 with Kam KXD7200.

Re: C-lo's Twin Tuba Build

Looking good! These drivers are excellent. Word to the wise - the gaskets on those drivers are in 4 pieces.... and in my experience they leak... in all 4 places! WTF? Ridiculous idea. You'll (more than likely)need to seal the gasket gaps to prevent leaks. I just had the same issue. Caulking took ca...

Re: First THTLP - First Bill F. project

The construction is complete. Still need to do the finish work. When hooked up to the bash 300 I can't get the volume above 30% before there is too much noise from heater vents and things hanging on the wall and who knows what else. I am quite impressed, especially considering I used the cheapest ($...

Re: First THTLP - First Bill F. project

Hello all. I got the baffle and the braces behind it installed today. Had to wait on the driver to arrive to measure it properly. I have a question on mounting the driver. The gasket around the driver is like 1/2 - 5/8 thick. How much do I compress that when I install the driver?

Re: First THTLP - First Bill F. project

OK, so sometimes what I read is not the same as what is printed on the page... Bill's plans refer to allen head screws and lock washers. I read machine screws and nuts. Wood screws and lock washers sound much simpler.
I installed a couple more panels on Sunday.

Re: First THTLP - First Bill F. project

Does anyone have some advice on T-nuts? Bill's instructions call for machine screws, lock washers and nuts. If I am understanding the plans correctly, then there would be no way to get the driver out after cabinet was completed. I found locking http://images2.mcmaster.com/Contents/gfx/small/93766a30...
