Re: Tuba HT build
The screw that holds the bearing on came off again last night when I was going over the edges :bash: I replaced the screw and it seems to be holding better now. I also ordered duratex from Speaker Hardware yesterday and it should be coming in today since I live so close (Missouri)! I actually paid f...

Re: Tuba HT build
Thanks for all of your help! And I am definitely going to start checking the bearings after each side.
I'm going to take your advice and use the round over bit after I finish filling in all of the holes and order some duratex later today!
Thanks again for your help.

Re: Questions around amps for the Tuba HT
Thanks guys for your help! It actually came down to the Crown XTI2000 and the Dayton SA-1000, but I ended up going with the XTI2000 since I was able to get it for 430 new. I hope I made the right choice! Thanks again!

Re: Questions around amps for the Tuba HT
I'm really beginning to consider the Crown XTI2000. I can get it new for around 430 and I could add a second Tuba HT without having to worry buying another amp.
Has anyone used the Crown XTI2000, especially to power a Tuba HT? Also, what did you think of the built in DSP?

Questions around amps for the Tuba HT
Hey everyone, About a week and a half ago I started building the Tuba HT (first enclosure I've built) and it looks like I'll be sealing it up this Saturday. But I'm having issues deciding on an amp... First, i was going for the O-Audio 500w bash amp. But then I read about the boost that the amp give...
