That BX1500 looks well thought out at a great price. Brand new. I didn't know Carvin had that ready to go. Good choice.

Re: O15TB for bass guitar use, picking a suitable amp
+1 on the Max. I've been chiming in with others to see if Genz Benz would be willing to upgrade the Shuttle Max 6.0 to a Max 9.0. 500 W into 8 ohms with that preamp would make a lot of people happy. No concession yet. The SD800 or GK 1001RBII would both be good choices and if you've got the money to...

Re: O15TB for bass guitar use, picking a suitable amp
I think a good amp to consider for the O15TB might be the Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0. It's very compact and rated at 500 watts into an 8 ohm load (900 into 4 ohm). It also has a very warm tone, tight low end, and semiparametric mid. If a cab is too clear where it starts to seem sterile or too wide in the...

Re: Introducing SPL Chart
The O15TB with 3015LF driver seems to be an ideal heavy hitting single cab rig for bass. I'd like to know how a pair of J112's loaded with 3012HO and either the melded piezos or NSD2005 would compare to it. Any chance of getting J112 charts with these 3012HO options? For a bass rig, assume the J112'...

Re: OTop 112 / NSD 2005 and Tuba 24's
I'll use a DriveRack PA+ with the pink noise generator, RTA mic, and auto eq to generate the initial eq set for the OT12/T39's. The attenuation profile should be interesting.

Re: OTop 112 / NSD 2005 and Tuba 24's
Thanks, that's what I was waiting to see. I take that to mean the latest OT12 plans with the NSD 2005 option have the correct crossover specified; so by following the plans the 3012HO and NSD 2005 will work together as they should and this won't be an issue. I'm only having two OT12's built but it s...

Re: OTop 112 / NSD 2005 and Tuba 24's
How is the mid/hi balance of the OTop 112 with the NSD 2005? Is the OT12 also loaded with a 3012HO? The 2005 is a step up compression driver. The titanium diaphragms are supposed to sound very good, clear but not harsh. The one concern I'd have with a passive crossover is that a very high efficiency...
