i just read through the plans and it seems that the Lab15 offers quite a bit more output than the 3015LF. am I reading that correctly? If it is almost double then I have no problem going that route. more output per cabinet is always welcome. price is not an issue. just checking with you guys again b...

also, would it make sense to use the same KAPPA PRO-15LF for tops if I go 15"?

I've decided on building 4 of the T-48's and I'd like a fairly easy build set of tops. doesn't matter if it's 2 tops or 4. just want a fairly matched up system. what do you recommend? 1-12", 2-12", a 15'?

so back to the original question: what is the BEST driver for the T-48? I'm an Eminence dealer so I can definitely get a better deal on them but if something else is better I'll go that way. thanks guys.

thanks for all of the feedback guys. I spent some time the other night with WinISD working on a Carvin type speaker cabinet loaded with Eminence 18"s and couldn't come up with anything better than a 2-18" Carvin looking cabinet output 131DB with 1600watts RMS pushing it. not super efficien...

Though the cost per driver isn't much more, the cost per amplifier is. I'm thinking that I'm gonna stay with the recommended 3015lf and build at least 4 to start with. the omni tops look like a decent easy build. i did look at the DR series but wasn't sure which one would pair the best with the sub....

I think I'm gonna build four T-48's and I'm just wondering if anyone knows what is the absolute best 15" speaker that can be installed in the cabinet?

also, which four tops would you suggest to match?
