Crown XTi 2000 Problems

Hi, I recently purchased a Crown XTi 2000 for my PA use. I will be running tops and subs on separate channels on one amp. I installed the Architect program and was able to connect to the amp and get the crossover all set up with no trouble.
The trouble started when I attempted to use the amp with my subs. When using the preset with my desired crossover settings (or any of the presets) the sound quality is TERRIBLE. It sounds horribly distorted or something, I'm not really sure.
I turned off the DSP and connected up a separate active crossover. The sound quality was much better without the built in DSP stuff on.
Anyone have any ideas why this would be happening and how to fix it?

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

(P.S. I also posted this on the Crown forums but its a ghost town over there...)

Have you tried the default "Crossover" peset? If it works OK with that setting then you are probably missing something in your setup of the DSP presets.

Have you figured it out yet?
Side note XTI owners be aware of your power source. If voltage is too(<108) low the amp will not turn on and or will go into clip mode. I now voltage regulators for my P.A.. Grainger has a few and I have seen them from computer supply websites.
