Speakon Jacks wiring

#1 Post by Brew »

I know this has been discussed before, but cannot find the topic.
I am installing 2 Speakeron jacks in each of a pair of Tubas. Idea is to daisy chain from amp to cab to cab running them parallel. The Jacks are NL-4's.
Should I connect speaker + to post 1+ and speaker - to post 1-. Jump from that jack to other post +1 to post+1, and -1 to -1.? Repeat for second cab?
Or??
Thanks

Yes. Ignore the 2+ and 2- posts.

While you're at it, might as well connect 2+ to 2+ and 2- to 2- for the two sockets in each cab. Just in case 4-wire cables are going to be used somewhere in the future for connecting subs plus tops with one 4-wire cable.
