Apologies in advance for the absolute newbie question. I've been reading the instructions and confident in the wood working part. I am completely lost on the crossover section. Do I build my own crossover? Buy a premade one? do I need 2 separate ones for the driver and the woofer? if I can make it, which professional grade components to I buy? if buying premade, which are the pro units? Any help would be appreciated.

You get to build your own!!! Do not buy prebuilt.
Here is a cap for the woofer...https://www.parts-express.com/15uF-100V ... quantity=1
Continue on, in PartsExpress, using the details in the plans.

Optionally, you could order this for the hi pass....https://www.speakerhardware.com/high-pa ... -8-ohm.php
and this for lo pass...https://www.speakerhardware.com/high-pa ... -array.php
You could search on SpeakerHardware for additional options depending on how you plan on fitting the cab....https://www.speakerhardware.com/bill-fi ... rossovers/

Read the plans and look at the sketchup a few more times. If there could have been a way to make the crossover instructions any more clear I would have.

thank you both for the quick response and links! After a few hours of googling and youtube videos, I get the concept and yes, it's clearly laid out in the instructions now that I understand what I'm reading. excited to get this build going.
