Any Interest in a Rig That Includes 4xDR200 and 2xT39?

Hey everyone! It's been several years since I've checked in here. Life has been busy and taken me down lots of roads that did not include speaker building. I first joined the community back around 2004-ish if memory serves. I built, used, and later sold an Omni10, a pair of DR250s, and a pair of slim T39s. I eventually settled on 4xDR200 and 2xT39 (20" wide) as my PA rig for a band I was trying to get off the ground. Although the photos have long since disappeared, my build threads for everything I built are still here in the forums. I probably still have some of the photos stored on a computer somewhere if anyone is interested.

As fate would have it, I'm getting out of the music scene for good this time, and I'm looking to see if anyone is interested in all or part of my current rig. I'm in the Tri-Cities area in NE Tennessee, and I'd prefer not to ship (although I did ship some T39s once to a guy who was willing to pay the shipping). The rig currently consists of the following:

  • 4x DR200 tops (16-ohm drivers so all four can be run off one side of a stereo amp of you're running a mono rig)
  • 2x T39 20" wide subs with 3012LF drivers
  • QSC PLX1804 amp (2 x 800W @ 4 ohms, 2 x 550W @ 8 ohms, weighs only 13 lbs.)
  • Driverack 260 Loudspeaker Management System
  • Soundcraft UI24R Digital Mixer
  • 2x tripod speaker stands
  • a boatload of cables to connect it all
I have owned all of this gear for a number of years, but it was never really used as much as I hoped it would be. In fact, I can probably count on both hands the number of times it has left my house in 10 years, and it's not been used much more than that at my house for rehearsals. I can also probably count on one hand the number of times the volume has been turned up past 6-7 on the power amp. So while it is technically "old," it's like a car that's 10-15 old but only has a thousand miles on the odometer. :)

If anyone happens to be interested in the whole rig, let's talk. Otherwise, I can come up with pricing for all the gear except the speakers. I really have no idea what fair pricing is nowadays for those. I can't even remember what I got for the ones I sold back in the day. So if you're interested in any of the speakers, make an offer, and we'll discuss.

Great to see you post again. How do you leave the music business? I'm pretty sure I'm in for life whether I like it or not.....
