I'm just in the beginning of my build. I've mounted the baffles (no 6 in the plans) and run into som questions regarding the braces connecting the baffle to the beginning of the horn throat (panel 2/6 braces). My problem is this: my drivers have extended surrounds, so Im using a separate mountingplate for them. This means that I have cut out a hole in the baffle the size of the outer diameter of the driver. However, the frame and surround is about 1 inch in height. Installed on the baffle the driver extends into the horn mouth with around 1/2 inch. This means that if I make the 2/6 braces according to the plans with the 1/2 cut out they will touch the driver. So I guess I have some alternatives: place the braces far apart on the outer diameter of the driver so they wont be in front of the driver, or place them according to plan but make the cut out deeper. However, the drivers xmax is one inch one way and I cant cut away som much material from the braces, there are not enough material for that. I have attached some pictures, I hope I have succeeded in explaining my problem
