Just saw this driver in an email from PE. fs is a bit under the low limit at Hz but everything else looks in range. Workable solution? If yes, impact of lower hz fs?
thanks

It's a recommended driver in the plans.

Great, thanks Bill. I guess I have an older set of plans since I saw the MCM 55-2421, Dayton DCS 205-4 and the Tang Band W8-740 for 8" drivers. This is a nice inexpensive option

Always order updated plans when you're considering a build.

Bill,
First, thanks for the great plans and instructions. I am about half way through an XF210 build for my son and it is going great. The next project will be three Tuba 18s. Is there any significant difference between the DCS 205-4GRS (older instructions), the GRS 8SW-4 HE and the PowerBass S-84. They are all in the same price range. I am having a hard time deciding.
Thanks,
Ron

It's bad etiquette to thread bomb. Unless your question is directly related to a thread open up a new one.
When in doubt go with the driver with the longest xmax.

My apologies bill and to the original poster. The reason I posted on this thread was because I thought it was related. You see, I read the thread, took your advice and updated my plans, that is bought new ones from you, and then found myself questioning which driver to go with base on what I learned on this thread and the new plans I bought because of this thread. I used this thread because I though it was directly related and did not think it good etiquette to create a new thread. Lesson learned.
Best,
Ron

No worries. It's just that this thread has to do with the TableTuba, not the T18. Someone else with the same question might not see a reply they're interested in as they wouldn't be looking at a TT thread for answers about the T18.
