David build question. Front panel cut out?

At the bottom of the front panel (panel 11), would it have a negative effect on the horn section if had cut out that are shaped after driver access covers? All the exterior panels are made with 18mm BB. I had 18mm BB for about 7 years and was starting to get weathered so I used before it got to far gone. I have a picture of what I am thinking, but sure how to and to this post.
Thanks
Ray

That would make the horn mouth opening too large.

I was thinking of doing that.
Right now I am dealing with a 120 Hz room mode. That I did not have when using aT45 and a pair of KLH 5's.

They sound amazing, very detailed but not harsh. In am using GR research m130 midrange, Radian planar ribbon tweeter and a Tang Band W8-740P subwoofer. For the crossover I a use Sublime Acoustics K231 active crossover at 80 hz and 3K hz. At 200 hz I was getting a loud room mode at 120 hz. I want to try try a 100 hz crossover but have not order that board yet.

I made the mid tweeter panel an exterior panel so I can try different driver combinations.
