Six weeks and 120 hours later, my 36" TubaHT Low Profile subwoofer is finished. I couldn't be happier with the results.
I used the Dayton RSS390HF-4 15" driver powered by a Behringer NX-6000 amp, and DSP'd using a MiniDSP 2x4HD. I used baltic birch plywood and finished it with Watco Natural Danish Oil.
I am impressed with how clean this subwoofer sounds. It blends seamlessly with my LaScala speakers. I also have an 18" Ultimax subwoofer in a sealed enclosure to add extension below 20hz for movie use.
I'm fortunate to have an understanding wife- given the monoliths now dominating our living room.
