Good morning, apart from public address or a mono top to a sub for small live sound, where could a single SLAP be used?

Acoustic show......
First time, I paired it with the T24, but from then on - just the SLA. Plenty for guitars and voices with enough bottom end.

Nice one!
I gave my XF210 to a friend a few years back to try & he says l can't have it back now! My 13 year old son found my electric guitar just lately and showed interest, I'll set up an amp so he can have a crack, thanks Bruce.

I love seeing kids pick up an instrument instead of a mouse to make music. Encourage the heck out of that kind of behavior!

Absolutely mate, he mucked around making noises for an hour before bed, then showed me a couple of riffs (on YouTube) he wants to learn.. excellent!

This SLA I've recently refurbished, the other l cut in half and made a pair of HiFi frankenshorties (l can post a pic if requested) after a friend swapped them for a proper pair l had here. Originally they were on the way to the dump because when l first built these SLAs around 2012, l landed myself in trouble and rightly so, I'd recently taken up BFM as a builder and was in too much of a hurry to get things going that l advertised these with terrible car audio drivers and one poor excuse of a tweeter, l imagine that me doing that would've been disrespectful and aggravating, sorry Bill.
I couldn't throw them away when l got there though!

Does the top swivel, or do you fire it into the corner, too?

I've never used that where I fire it into a corner. There's plenty of bass for listening in the garage while I'm puttering around. I'm only about 5 feet away at my worktable.....so, I don't need a lot.
When I used it for an acoustic show, it just sits between us - plenty far away from any boundary.
And yes....the top does swivel. In fact, I have a motor on it so it moves back and forth like an oscillating fan.....makes for a great chorus effect....

Does it go fast, and then, slow?

Only when we play Green Onions or Whiter Shade of Pale.
(There, we'll let the young guys figure that out....)
