Hello and welcome to the forum. I'm Seth.

Your question is better asked in it's own dedicated thread, as it's not particularly pertinent to the thread you posted it in and it's just general common forum etiquette. Also, when you start the thread, please include a link to the spec sheet for the driver you're asking about.

To start your thread, navigate to the section of the forum that best matches your question. In your case, the Home Theatre/Stereo/Auto Sound section. Near the top of the page, on the left hand side you'll see the "New Topic" option.

Welcome aboard. Happy to have you here and look forward to answering all your questions!

From the THT plans, page 1: Acceptable driver T/S specs are fs 17 to 30Hz, Qts .3 to .5, Vas 100 to 320L, xmax no less than 9mm. Drivers with fs on the high end of the range work best in narrower cabs, those with low fs are better in wider cabs. Maximum driver depth is 9.5 inches.

Hello and welcome!

Based on https://jblpro.com/en/site_elements/222 ... tion-sheet

The 2226H doesn't have sufficient Xmax, and is above required Fs.

Great driver, seen em in 100's of cabs over the years. Just not suitable for the THT...
Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...
