+1

Many years ago, I built a pair of DR250s, with melded arrays, on the hood of a retired Volvo 745 in my backyard (I had minimal wood-working skills back then).

You guys make a compelling argument for giving the DR200 a shot. I've got a little wood sitting around, maybe I'll take a crack at the horn and see how it goes. If I can get the horn done without going stark raving mad then I can take the next step. Thanks again :)

I'm making some progress on the Top 12's and thinking about a sub...have gone all over the map from small table tuba to titan 48 and everything in between. Leaning towards Tuba 24 but I have a question about the charts and the directions....charts show 90db at about 34 hz with a single T24 but the notes say "Groups of less than four cabs should be high-passed at 45 Hz. With four cabs or more 40 Hz is acceptable." Now this might be more theoretical if we're talking music but can you run a single T24 down to 35hz or do you need to keep it at 45hz? (I can move this question to a new thread if it's appropriate) Thanks :)

A single T24 isn't enough in terms of both extension and output to go with a pair of OTop 12.

Or T45, which is easier to transport.
