Good evening all,
MiniDSP has unfortunately discontinued their HA-DSP headphone amplifier, which was I was going to pull the trigger on when the $40 one and iPod classic I've been using for what feels like forever, showed signs of pain. I found one on eBay in Lithuania though for $700au... umm, no.
The four preset DSP was the winner in that unit for me, is there anything else available which has this ability? Can anyone recommend a high quality portable HA, DSP or not?
I've looked online, however I feel the reviews are possibly biased... I'm also the only person in the village who loves sound gear, so you guys cop all my stupid/annoying questions!

Keryn, have you looked at the current offering from miniDSP?

Are you interested in a DIY version? Here is just one that I found, but there are many more ways to do it.

G'day Tom,
I did see that one mate, I'm pretty sure it's not portable in the way of having its own power source though.
Building one would be interesting, maybe out of my skill level range though man! I'll look deeper into both..
Thanks Tom!

Hey Keryn,
Check out the XDUOO XD-05 BASIC, or the range.
It's out of China, like so many things now...
