Penn Elcom has them in two different lengths. But honestly, I'd just get the skate board ones if they're handier to procure.

I have the Penn Elcom's on my T39. They're molded and hollow. Truth be told, I would prefer solid rails.

I have a some cutting board material to make my own but i have mixed results using my router bits on uhmw.

Seth, I looked high and low on Penns site... But I think I use the wrong terms, I was looking for "strip" not "skid".
Not sure how I didn't find it :bash:

Can't promise this will work for long, I didn't think about copyright issues...

I still haven't properly tuned it but I made sure my remote programming port worked. There some issues that need to be fixed I think but I redid the bass boost module and picked up more low end without overdriving at elevated volumes. The only EQ is a 2db boost at 65hz and the dynamic boost. I removed all the mid/high EQ I had in it.
Run time on the 9AH battery is really good. I did 4+ hours today and it only dropped one bar to 19.10 volts.

I tried to cater to the crowd haha.

I know how it is though when you are hearing songs you are familiar with it's easier to get a feel for what's going on.

I am super curious how much different there would be with the LF version of the 12"..

Much improved since the prior video. Horizontal video, nice long duration, good song variations that highlighted differing frequency ranges...

It's difficult to tell how much of what I hear is contributable to the cab and tuning and what colorations and compression the camera mic might be imparting, let alone the various listening equipment on my/our end. But, here's what I heard; Bass was way more smooth and present. A bit hot a couple places in the high-mids and highs. Although, those higher frequencies came across amazingly clear, articulate, and textured. Without something to contrast, it's difficult to gauge volume. But, it seems to have more than enough (more than I thought it would). Overall, I'm really impressed with the overall performance and reminding myself this is a bluetooth, battery powered, inexpensive board amp, budget 2nd hand drivers, make it work with what I got kinda build... puts a smile on my face.

I need to make another video using the IMM-6 mic from the tablet, it might give a better representation of the sound. Overall I'm really happy for the build given the constraints.

This project has A lot of potential, it could easy be ran passive and powered via a external amplifier if needed. I ran it in the shop Saturday on a wall power supply through the rear DC jack and that worked excellent but at 19.5v/2.5A it lacked the same punch it has at 36v on the battery.

Still need to tune it, time delay etc. But it's pretty clear the tops will outrun the woofer pretty easily. I have my eyes on the 3012Lf's in the for sale section but I really need to slow the spending on this project and use it.

Inside this thing is a beast, the bottom is amazing and keeps up with the top well.

I still have the 4 ohm BP102 and 2x 8" MCM woofers to build an accompanying sub(s) but I am over my limit on invested time for the 1st quarter all ready.

Thanks for all the help guys.

That's the difference between half space loading outdoors and quarter space indoors. 3012LF won't help much, if at all, as the increased xmax is of no value without increased power to make use of it.

I am impressed with the sound! It has a nice weight to the bottom end, yet retains detail in mids and highs.

The fidelity at all/elevated volumes is what usually makes me smile outdoors. SEVERAL Houses down the fidelity is still there, this is all obvious to Pro-Sound guys like most of you.

Not a "old guy" play list but it's impressive output.

Running off the DC power port and a old HP printer 32v .720 = 24watts!!! Power supply

Love it!

Could definitely benefit from a little EQ. But really, it's better than ANY other battery powered speaker I've ever heard.

I don't have time to get into that now but I attempted (just the process) to tune it the other day.
I ran into something weird where I can't really boost the bottom frequencies, say sub 100 hz.
Not sure if that's a issue with the DSP chip or what exactly. When the weather improves I am going to try the process out side.

I had to pull 13B off the mid and 8dB off the tweeter to get even 86dB response which makes sense hearing it.

More later....
